Eliza Evans specializes in brand strategy for clients looking to data, research and analysis to provide a sound strategic approach. Informed by several years of public relations and marketing experience, today she enjoys building brand strategies for clients focused on business-to-business and those with complex technical products—especially finance and technology.
Her clients have included Amtrak, Bridgestone Americas, Chick-fil-A, Barnes & Noble College, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She enjoys working and learning from such iconic brands—but she especially loves brands she gets to have a hand in building. At Joe Smith, she has been fortunate to work on newly formed businesses like Seqirus, the world’s second-largest influenza manufacturer.
Eliza earned a bachelor’s from the Cooper Union in New York, New York, and a master’s in strategic public relations from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. When Eliza isn’t busy building strategies for clients, she strategizes the best way to hang a hammock by the river, hunts for historic curiosities in local museums, and bores friends and family with unsolicited enthusiasm around personal finance.
