Blaine’s sweet spot lies at the intersection of ideation and strategy. He leverages his natural curiosity for the world by asking how it can be applied to the complexity of a business problem. Armed with a background in traditional branding, Blaine is passionate about helping clients find alignment around a singular purpose, then enabling them to express it in a unique way. 

Before joining Joe Smith, Blaine worked as a strategist at a small brand agency that serves global non-profit organizations, where he was responsible for qualitative and quantitative research. He analyzed data with an eye for the strategic and creative implications for each brand. Early in his career, Blaine did a yearlong stint with AmeriCorps before working in financial services.

When the sun is out, you can find Blaine playing pickup basketball, proving that respect is earned and not given. He enjoys writing. He is no stranger to a late-night drive thru. Blaine is married to Dorathy, whose unique wit is matched by her wisdom.
