Emily has been circling the world of brands for more than a decade. She approaches strategy with the spirit of a photographer – seeking out unnoticed stories, examining multiple viewpoints, and snapping at the magic when it unfolds.
From insights and strategy to campaign and communications planning, she has spent a career navigating where human behaviors, cultural trends and brand values intersect. Her innate curiosity and drive to explore every angle propel her to dig deep for truths that shed new light on business problems. Some brands she has worked on include BISSELL Homecare, Georges Duboeuf Wines, Quebec Maple Syrup, U.S. Blueberries, Wesco and Winnebago Industries.
Most recently, she copiloted the creation of an insights and strategy practice at Joe Smith’s parent company Padilla, helping to cultivate a holistic approach to strategic planning across the firm. Driven to nurture better creative thinking more widely, she also led the development and implementation of a network-wide Strategy Accelerator program across Avenir Global’s six agencies in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Emily graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in French language and Studio Art, but she’s still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up.
Outside work, Emily can be found running to the beat of 90’s Hip Hop, consuming mass quantities of dark chocolate, or tickling her three young kids until they beg for mercy.
